Just curious if anyone who drinks lots of coffee or soda and went on an MAOI took the time to track their blood pressure to see if there were any significant changes.

In reply to nardil + caffeine, has anyone tracked BP?, posted by creepy on September 4, 2020, at 17:42:26
Yes. I have a cuff and was on Nardil for 2yrs while Marplan was unavailable. I drink at least a lot of coffee everyday and was checking my bp almost daily for other reasons (was on ritalin also at one point for example).
For me it didn't have any noticable effect. My bp was almost always 115/80ish on Nardil. Maybe it slightly elevated it occasionally but it definitely didn't cause any sort of hypertensive crisis. I wouldn't be concerned.
If you have any doubt though just get a $35 BP cuff from your local Walgreens or Rite Aid......good to have one just in case anyway...

+1 Be careful though. Start low, go slow
