I wouldn't say it's a wonder drug. Definitely mood positive in my case, but not sustaining. At least in my case, the core depression remained unaffected. I still take it, and it's definitely mood positive, but I need an AD as well. If the initial effects were enduring, I believe it would be prescribed for depression. Now it's a scheduled medication, but it was not a big deal when I started.
