Dont know what to do. I dont like the average doctor. I could go back to my old one. He believes me at least. I need to write a paper for university and i was ill for a few days. I couldnt work on my paper. I was scared to go to my doctor. Nobody likes to be called a liar!

Colds always shake my mental wellbeing first and foremost. It doesn't make sense to just "push through".

Aw. I reckon I get better much faster when I rest up, too. If I take a couple days out then it can save me a couple weeks of getting better.
I'm sorry your GP doesn't believe you. I'm sorry your GP needs to believe you. I find it pretty f*ck*ng infantilising that I'm supposed to get a note from my Doctor when I'm sick and people don't respect me enough to know that I wouldn't lie about sh*t like that. That I'm less likely to lie about sh*t like that than my Doctor, most probably.

Well, the university demands the paper after 8 Weeks. Now that I have lost a week to illness, I only have 7 weeks of time. But I will survive. I just wish I had a doctor I could count on!

you could go to psychiatric hospital and talk to one of their doctors, if you don't want to switch. I know the feeling, i've been in a session with evidence of major symptoms of paranoia, and they just left me on the meds. Even with psychiatric reports from a qualified court psychologist. Funny then another patient comes in, then gets their meds changed for just feeling a little bit of anxiety. Their blind to the evidence, or just being biased
