I know we haven't seen that word in some time, but it is one of the few antagonists of the 5ht2 (especially ht3) receptors out there.
I'm back on celexa again and I forgot how bad the lack of sex drive/romantic interest could be. Serzone and remeron are supposed to be the most potent antagonists here.
Also hoping it will address the lazy, responsibility-avoidant place that SSRI's put me in.
I'm not sure exactly what 5ht1a antagonsim is supposed to achieve when an SSRI is on board.
Anyone have experience here?

Hey,
I found the combination of Remeron and citalopram ok. Remeron and trazodone also worked reasonably well. Keeping the citalopram dose low (10-20mg) can also help.

I tried it for a couple of days. Seems to make me slightly more anxious and zoned out so I dropped it.
Interestingly I started taking my celexa at night because when I take it concurrently with Lamictal it makes depression and rumination worse. Can't sleep as well however mood is much better and the "avoidant, lazy quality of the celexa is way less.
This is the end of the thread.
