i take 5mg at noon and 20mg at bedtime .....dr wants to reduce to 10mg at bedtime ...is that too much of an initil cut ...i can always go to 15 mg for 2 weeks then 10 to play it safe...any thoughts?

just say NO to rapid benzodiazepine tapers, if you can.
a 10mgs cut is too much, so rapidly. can you get a different doctor who maybe won't try these things with you?
20mgs/diazepam=1mgs klonopin or xanax, if i recall correctly.
if he insists on a reduction, try to get him to do it slowly.
did you piss him off recently?

NOT AT ALL I SEE HIS PA ONCE A MONTH HE THOUGHT IT WAS TOO MUCH VALIUM WITH (2) 10 MG OF ADDERAL ....I TAKE 1 ADDERAL AT 8AM AND 1 ADDERALL AT 2PM AND 5MG OF DIAZEPAM AT NOON.....THEN 20 VALIUM TO SLEE AT 11 PM......I WON'T DO THAT GOT HIM TO REASON TO 15MG FOR A MONTH THEN 10 ...WHAT DO U THINK?
