Morning light box therapy made me agitated, mixed (although I wasn't on a mood stabiliser and was using it excessively, alongside sleep deprivation).
I've seen some evidence that midday/early afternoon therapy does not result in such states and can even stabilise mixed states.

Has anyone experienced a difference here? I'm thinking to start at 10 minutes around 230pm and build myself up by 5 minutes every couple of weeks as required.

I have personally found light box treatment in the mornings to be more stimulating than later in the day.

Yep studies that I read have suggested that morning light can increase cortisol, but light later in the day has no such impact...might be one of the reasons?

If youre in a northern country, a light box might be too stimulating this time of year. The solstice was only a few days ago. I usually pull my out during the short days of winter. Oh yes, I use mine at mid-afternoon, too. (I have BPll).
