Me only 12.5 a day though. Most likely does nothing at all.

Joe when believed medications could make you better took up to 200mg for a short while. Gradually when found out the only meds that work are benzos I just kept taking the luvox as years ago they said luvox increased the effects so would take less of benzos. I still take low doses of them also. Quick frankly all the talk of withdrawal has frightened me to stop taking the luvox.

IN YOUR OPINION.....AND I WILL ASK DR I'VE BEEN TAKING 250CR FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS ...FOR SEVERE OCD/ANXIETY......AND IT WORKS I THINK THE HALF LIFE OF THE CR IS ABOUT 16 HOURS ...NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN IMMEDIATE RELEASE...IF IT WAS LOWERED TO 200CR HOW LONG DO YOU THINK A STEADY STATE AT 200 WOULD TAKE

Hi, if you don't mind me asking, did Luvox make you very nauseated? (I heard this is one of the side effects.)
Thank you,
Roslynn

None at all even years ago when took 200mg of regular luvox. The only side effect I experienced then was a lot of energy. Of course I was younger than also. But that with xanax I think at the time went away after a few weeks. I still had energy but was back to needing more sleep at night.

I have not tried it yet but was worried about the nausea as a side effect.

I tried Luvox this past fall. It as the third SSRI I failed.
It gave me bad urinary retention and tinnitus at low doses. I worked up to 100mg over a period of about four - five weeks. Side effects started to appear at 50mg.
Perhaps I am a unique case as I get urinary retention on several of these anticholinergic drugs.
Hope its working if you use it.
This is the end of the thread.
