I'm having a rough patch atm. Could it be a seasonal thing with increasing daylight?
I did ok this Fall through the holidays. This past week I felt briefly hypomanic and very anxious. Today, very dull.
Does anyone else experience seasonal variation, and if you do, have you found ways to lessen the symptoms?

Well, I'm asking my shrink for Focalin. At the right dose, Methylphenidate straightens me out and doesn't cause cycling.
Just saying.

hi. i just now saw your post. i think focalin at a reasonable dose is a splendid idea. i think there's an xr capsule now, too...easy dosing.
the official option is wellbutrin. i think focalin would probably work more quickly and have fewer drug-drug interactions, plus...i found focalin somewhat pleasant, except when it wore off (i think now my prescribed dosage was a bit excessive).
other than that...i just hope you start feeling better, soon. oh, and sometimes 2x daily dosing for stimulants works well...an xr or er or sr or...whatever...capsule in the am, the tablet version later in the day, with an eye to keep the whole dose reasonably low. just a thought.
:-)
