Sertraline standalone makes me apathetic, indifferent and unmotivated, so my doc suggested that we try augmenting it with Nortriptyline OR alternatively he offered me Clomipramine standalone...
Not sure how to proceed... Staying on Sertraline and adding Nortriptyline or weaning off Sertraline and going all for Clomipramine?
My next appointment is in two weeks, until then I have to decide...

I'd try Sert augmented w/ Nortrip since it's a noted, effective combination and you wouldn't have to discontinue any medication.

Sertraline plus Ritalin.
If you are interested in fast and higher probability of effectiveness.
If that failed, then try other ideas.
The stimulants are fantastic for psychiatry and way under utilized. In my opinion. You can get a depressed senior citizen up out of bed playing checkers in a week on Ritalin, and maybe never with Sertraline cocktails.
