It's looking more and more like clonazepam is behind my latest bout of anxiety. Currently on the Actavis brand, and feel like I'm getting physically ill from it. Had a panic attack the other day twenty minutes after taking my morning dose. Also tried the Teva Wafers: anxiety. Tried an old bottle of Teva: anxiety.
I've been on this for seven years, the last few at a very low dose, and this just came out of the blue. Has anyone else gone through this, and would a different benzo make any difference? I can't take another pill.

One can have a panic attack while taking a benzo, especially if one takes them daily. If you're having difficulty with the brand change, maybe you can make a dosage adjustment, like a wee bit more. Maybe the new brand isn't as potent as the old brand.

alprazolam is the most effective for panic attacks, but it has more drug liking, meaning you enjoy the feeling, clonazepam is more sedating but i had and felt agitated on clonazepam, i was on 2mg three times daily, it made me a bit depressed and still things bothered me even on 2mg tablet
lorazepam is mainly for general anxiety, it just makes you relax, it's not panic attack class medicine, xanax is the big catagory

can't really give you the best answer, that or you talk to the pharmacist and ask if there is other generic brands than Teva. But last, talk with your doctor and switch to another anxiety med, all i know is alprazolam is best for panic attacks, and also a big thing you could ask your doctor is beta-blocker, block norepinephrine and epinephrine (adrenaline) which would stop the psychical anxiety, racing heart, shivers, sweating etc....

klonopin brand name expensive, but yes the trade name has the best from what it was designed for. I noticed Nuvigil, the med i take to just help with wakefulness, being able to function, the brand that now take causes more anxiety, sometimes it's like they altered armodafnil, i mean it is armodafnil but something they mixed or did a low quality version of it, not sure

My experience is that generics can behave as if an entirely different drug than the name brand.
