Hello . I need help with this COMBO..
So I will be taking Wellbutrin for the increase in Norepinephrine. Since its WEAK on Dopamine I will be adding Abilify to increase dopamine. But my worries are that I dont want anything that increases Serotonin. Which abilify is an agonist on 5ht2c and 5ht1a and blocks SERT?So I will be taking Mianserin to antagonisze 5ht2c and other serotonin receptors.
Anyway How can I make sure to get the most Norepinephrine and dopamine benefits with most Serotonin antagonism what dosage?
Im thinking:
300mg Wellbutrin daily
Abilify . Should I go for high or low dosage? I want just the dopamine increase not the serotonin angonism... Should I go for low dosage like 5mg daily? or 10mg?
and the Mianserin for the serotonin receptor antagonism.. Any info on this the dosages? I was thinking of taking 60mg daily.. I know this 1 also increases norepinephrine but also blocks many serotonin receptors.

hi. abilify is a tranquilizer w/ a unique mechanism of action, but it is still a tranquilizer. be very, very careful.
try to keep in mind that antidepressants boost blood levels of tranquilizers. i think abilify comes in a 2mgs tablet. maybe that would be a good dose to start with?
i read somewhere...some shrinks give low doses of abilify every 2nd or 3rd day, off label. abilify has a long half life, so i guess that's why.
do be careful, especially with tranquilizers. tardive dyskinesia, tardive dementia...not fun, often irreversible.
