A friend of mine uses CBD oil for depression and anxiety and recommended I try it to perhaps week me off some of my huge cocktail. CBD oil uses the same liver enzyme that some of my meds do so it was suggested I take it 4 hours after taking me medicine. What does anyone think? Hopefully someone has experience with cbd oil and medication.

Hmm.
Do you know if CBD oil inhibits those enzymes or just uses them?
Are you taking a lot of other meds?

I used CBD oil for chronic pain and never even considered any interactions to be honest. Nothing noteworthy happened that I can recall. I was on Lexapro, Oxycodone, various stimulants, abilify and possibly other stuff.
Personally for CP I found it ineffective: I was too incapacitated at the dosage I required for it to help with the pain. I would have loved for it to be helpful.

What happens when you take hydromorphone (Dilaudid)?
I wish I could be of more help.

> - ScottSorry Scott, the email notification for your reply went into the void. I've heard of buprenorphine being used for opiate addiction but not for potentiation. Would a 'standard' pain doctor be OK with co-prescribing the two do you think?
I've never taken hydromorphone. The only opiate I've tried is oxycodone. I'm currently weening myself off of it (somehow. It's miserable.) and am down to half my previous dose. A book called "Explain Pain" made the most positive difference.
