Brintellix + Zoloft combo

Posted by Yuri Cubaniski on January 5, 2017, at 5:53:18

I have anxiety and Zoloft fixes it, but I get horrible sexual side effects.

Brintellix 20mg works slightly for anxiety, and no side effects.

Now I was thinking about mixing the two together, 10mg Brintellix and as little Zoloft as possible.

I know that they're not supposed to be taken together, but I also know of people who do take them together.

Is anyone here on a comparable regime? Any advice?

Thanks!!!

I have not taken two SRI drugs at the same time.

Have you tried Effexor yet? Sexual side-effects are usually minimal with it. If it works, you might be able to discontinue the Zoloft.

When patients suffer from sexual side effects from an SSRI, the go to to help this problem is Mirtazapine or Cyproheptadine.
