could i augment low dose trazodone and low dose venlafaxin with 5-htp or tryptophan?
I am trying to avoid sexual side effects but i still want 5htp action.

I used 5-HTP with Prozac no problem. I only ran into trouble at high doses of each. It won't come from out of the blue. You'll start feeling not so good before you get into serotonin syndrome. So start off small and work your way up. I started feeling sick at about 100 mg of Prozac and 100-200 mg of 5-HTP so I'd say starting at 5 or 10 mg of 5-HTP will be pretty safe.

Have you tried dextroamphetamine for your OCD?
Recent double-blind studies show great improvements in OCD symptoms using dextromphetamine as well as caffeine(in high doses).
