I believe it's 5 years after the disability decision has been approved; or someone can request an enquiry into your status. My ex tried that with me and I got a form letter stating I was not yet due for a review.

Are you talking about SSDI-social security disability insurance? If its that, they review you every 18 months, 3 years or 7 years. Based on how likely it is that you will improve. This is decided when they first put you on SSDI and they will tell you once on SSDI the time will not change.
