It is silly to continue to post to or about Lou Pilder.
It ruins the forum.
Just don't do it...
I think that explaining to new members about our problem with trolls is important, although not always necessary. It doesn't take more than one or two posts directed to the new member in order to accomplish this. It is important not to engage the troll directly in any way. Any comments to be made should be directed to the new member, not the troll. Attempts by a troll to hijack threads should be met with silence. They are to be dismissed and disregarded. If one decides to post a comment in response to the troll, I think it is critical to rewrite the subject line, perhaps returning it to the original verbiage. This will prevent the name of the troll from littering the page and creating a wall of graffiti.
I realize that this is just one more post devoted to the behaviors of Lou Pilder - something that I would like to see avoided whenever possible.
Ignore the troll.
Lou Pilder is our very own cute little troll. What unmoderated forum would be complete without one?

I have never confronted Dr. Bob regarding the possibility that he has been threatened by lawyers or organizations that Lou Pilder may have enlisted. It has always been my suspicion that this was true. I believe that this became obvious as soon as the doctor began to protect Mr. Pilder and elected not to block him from posting - or even issue him a "Please be civil" warning. What Mr. Pilder posted was clearly uncivil according to forum regulations, and damaging to the individual and the collective. I decided not to broach the subject with the doctor. I thought it too personal a question and a breach of boundaries. He never volunteered his reasons for avoiding this forum. However, I have reported to him the words and behaviors of Lou Pilder on several occasions. He was quite sad. He genuinely misses and cares about Psycho-Babble. I can't help but to think that his hands are tied.
What Tabitha did was amazing, diligent, well reported, and courageous. The information gathered helps to explain the behavior of Lou Pilder as that of a true Internet troll, possessing the character traits of the "dark tetrad". He is not really cute, even though he has been treated by many people as being such for many years.

Lou Pilder is extrememly, extremely ignorant of organic chemistry, psychopharmacology, and psychiatry in general. Knowing this, it seems silly to interact with him at all. However, at times, it might be important to interact with a poster regarding Pilder's behavior. This is different from interacting with Pilder directly. It is critically important to simply ignore his posts entirely. I try to.

For anyone who would like to continue to keep Psycho-Babble alive and relevant, this is what needs to occur. Ignoring Lou Pilder completely should work. It has in the past. Just be prepared for an acute increase in his posting frequency for awhile as he becomes desperate for attention and the opportunity to inflict damage.

But seeing that LP has indeed filed at least one civil rights complaint about discrimination against Jews, creating a need for expensive legal defense by the accused party, it does seem highly possible. I'm surprised though that Bob still identifies himself as associated with Psycho Babble at all.

Friends,Tabitha says that I have filed a law suit. A filing of religious discrimination in housing is not a law suit. In order to stop discrimination in housing those that think that they have discriminated on by housing providers that are open to the public have a duty to stop it if they want the discrimination to stop.
The question for the courts is can, lets say a condo association, discriminate via religion. That depends on what is meant by religion. It also depends on what is meant by discrimination.
Here, we have myself the Jewish member, being subjected to having defamation posted against him and anti-Semitic propaganda being allowed by the owner/operator to be seen as being supportive. But this site is not "housing". No one lives here and pays rent or a mortgage or real estate taxes. So Mr. Hsiung is not subject to the Fair Housing Act.
To bring Hsiung to justice would require a huge amount of time and expense. Someone greater than me would have to stop him from allowing the anti-Semitic propaganda and the defamation.
The FDA allows him to have these drugs promoted here without him disclosing the horrific consequences that could befall the takers of these drugs. Those that have had their lives ruined by coming here, or killed, and were duped into thinking that the drugs are safer than they really are and are killed or maimed by the drugs can not speak here. I will speak for them
