I guess I have inadequate "coping skills" ... ended up in the hospital again after ideation. They wouldn't give me my Focalin there, because the doctor was worried about the MAOI interaction (even tho my outpatient doc OK'd it.)
So, I was offered ECT and declined. He started cytomel at I think 25 or 50mcg, and by the second day, I was an anxious mess and had a panic attack. It "felt" very much like being on Wellbutrin, or Effexor which gave me anxiety and restlessness. Yuck.
(YMMV, I am very sensitive to meds).
So, back to see outpatient doc today, hoping for an increase in the Focalin XR from 5mg to 10.

I tried adding Cytomel T3 to imipramine. It exacerbated my depression. It was terrible. Interestingsly, thyroxine T4 was actually somewhat helpful.
