Decision point: I call and bitch for earlier appt

That's it guys.. as I kept mentioning over and over again, my ADHD is PRIMARY. I think if I had been diagnosed as a child or adolescent perhaps I wouldn't have gotten all these other things (which is okay that I do have them).

It's such a blessing but also a curse to know so much about drugs, and know exactly what I need, because I can very succinctly and convincingly make a case for re-adding Focalin XR (I know that the novelty of moving has worn off and I am dysthymic again.)

I'm going to call my insurance and beg for an earlier 'crisis' appointment or walk-in to the clinic, 50-miles away, and I'm not leaving without making my case.

I DESERVE TO FEEL BETTER.

I'm sorry that you didn't get the treatment that you needed years ago. That's rough.

Please look at this as a blessing. It may be the reason you find an effective treatment.

My pdoc once told me that should I experience a "crisis" I should just "show up" and he would see me. I hope your pdoc has the same policy. I think its a good one.
