this med actually i've noticed some benefits, it pulls me out of a slump, just a couple hours ago huge slump, it pulled me out of it, has some mild antidepressant effects, but it's not like a total mood lifter, it just seems to act like a stablizer pulls you out of depression, but no mania or extreme good moods.....
i've heard abilify work on depression too, it works on certain receptors on the brain, increases dopamine in a certain sector in the brain, and others it lowers it......the wikipedia has some info on it
i've taken it at 200, 300, 400 mg's diffrent times, 200mg seems to help with mood, 300 mg is mood and stablization, and 400 seems to act more in reinforcing mood stablization
not sure how it has mood improvement, maybe it brings the nueron out of a low state and polerizes nueron flow.....not depressed but not extreme good mood

Give your poor brain a chance to work towards stability. For you, as you describe it, 300 mg/day is an ideal dosage for you to remain at while you configure the rest of your treatment regime.
What are you guys thinking with respect to Vraylar? Vraylar is touted as being more antidepressive than Abilify and Rexulti. Then again, Rexulti should produce less akathisia and is perhaps more calming than Abilify.
