Seriously it's awful! There were times on higher doses of Celexa where I didn't feel compelled to get out of bed, but I seldomly could physicially not open my eyes.
In addition I'm tired a good part of the day and then wide awake when it's time to go to bed.
I seem to remember this being more of a problem when I was unmedicated but I'm not really sure.
Lamictal taken at night keeps me awake. I try to take it all (150mgs) in the morning and afternoon. I may take .125 klonopin at night and then in the afternoon.
I remember feeling the same way on viibryd also.
Anyone have a suggestion? I slept through a client this morning and that was at 10 am...I was asleep by 11:30.
I am using flonase and nasal strips to help by breathing. That was helpful for sleep when I was on celexa, can't tell if it's making any difference know.

I found this online:
"Fatigue: You may feel excessively fatigued for awhile after you quit Celexa. It may be difficult to get out of bed in the morning or even make it through a work day. The tiredness and lethargy may be pretty severe. Just recognize that this will gradually improve and your energy levels will start to return over time."Would it be possible for you to go to bed earlier? Maybe you could take both doses of klonopin at night for a while or add something like trazadone or ambien. If you allow for extra hours of sleep do you think you could wake up when you need to?
Maybe your pdoc could prescribe a small dose of a simulant to take just until your Celexa withdrawals subside. I take Ritalin and it works for my sometimes severe fatigue.
Good luck,
Jade
