sleep deprivation / adrenal glands

Posted by rjlockhart37 on March 16, 2016, at 0:43:49

i've noticed when i go days without sleep, im much more alert, but irrtibile......there's more dopamine that's in the synapse but it's not euphoric at all....

but i rerember when i took psychostimulants and didnt get sleep, irrtible, more prone to do things that where risk and less rational, if i didnt have a benzodiapine to make me sleep, i would stay up in a paranoia state, i could think good, but it would do things that where not rational behavior

does anyone want to talk about increased dopamine levels from sleep deprivation? and not in euphoric way, more of crazed alert state, dyphoric

Does sleep deprivation cause increased available dopamine? I associate dopamine with feeling good. When I go without sleep it usually triggers a very dysphoric state.

Sounds like psychostimulants are not your friend :(

we'll what i mean, previously if something kept me up for a night, and i didnt get any sleep, (with me) my adrenal glands release, and i feel irrtibible, an example say like too much psychostimulants, no sleep, my body will increase it's dopamine levels because i will still be able to focus but i do things that arnt rational, and deprived of sleep, but i think it's doing it because the body knows it needs extra boost to keep going

i think, there was episode on a tv show of the captain going days without sleep, and she had found out her dopamine levels where increased.....
this is an example of it:

see when i don't go with out sleep i get like this, very irrtible, prone to snap, and talk in diffrent manner.....

and i think, even with dopamine increased, it does not mean it's pleasurable, i think in diffrent sections of the brain, it can cause mania, irrtibility

i just....rerember days without sleep=irrtible, irrational, hypomania

I think for a while there sleep deprivation was sometimes used for treatment of depression. I seem to recall reading about that from the 70s or something. I dunno if that's thinking outside the box or witchdoctor desperation.

witchdoctors reguardless of science and evidence, they use the spirit relm to heal sickness, that's why it's considered pseudo-treatment.....just like some wicked practices of magick you can inflict someone with a sickness.......

there's alot of things that are beyond 5 senses
