too much dopamine

Posted by rjlockhart37 on December 30, 2015, at 1:07:58

i've noticed when my dopamine levels where raised from amphetamine stimulants, dextroamphetamine and /or methamphetamine

too much dopamine makes you feel crazy, irrtibily very fast thinking but in like a crazed state, paranoia is easier to get when dopamine is raised......

anyone ever had lots of dopamine to where it was too much and it pushes over the edge?

taht could include mania.....too much dopamine from a manic episode can cause you feel pushed over the edge.....

i've just noticed that mainly the anti-psychosics lower dopamine, there dopamine blockers and they stop paranoia and dopamine crazed focus thinking,

it's not only been when i was taking dexedrine, i've been through mood states where i felt heightned and infatuated feeling good, and then my mood will fall......aka meaning nuerotransmitters are lowering due to MAO

like that feeling everything is all good, and then you start thinking about something and then that content feeling fades.....it's the nuerotransmitters being taken up by the MAO, thats why the feeling fades is because they are fading in the synapse

Hello my physician is using a dopamine approach to treat my social anxiety which is chronic(20 yrs) and extremely problematic eg if the pipe bursts and I need to call a plumber the heart beat goes up to 101 mph and I can barely speak. It so uncomfortable for me and the other person. But getting to your point I find taking Lamotrigine stabilises me but still gives me the confidence from the dopamine meds I take one of which is Abilify which along with Lamotrigine stabilises me . It wouldnt be right to recommend but I like it alot so you may want think about it. Its a dopamine agonist and works well with the dopamine releasers in synergy. Good Luck. PB
