yea SAM-e is good add on, but it's just pricey......it helps with joint pain, and other psychical issues and also boosting nuerotransmitters
it takes a while for SAM-e to start working at full effect, i think it just enhances the production serotonin and dopamine to replenish nuerotransmitters that are low in depression

I am going on it.
My doctor is cool with it.
1600mg is the max?
I need to take some B-Vitamins though.

yes that is the max, but i think you can take multiple doses through out the day, but i would maybe stay with 1600mg no more than over 2500mg in a single day. It won't really provide a improved effect and could be a health risk.
this is quick review on it from the Mayo Clinichttp://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/same/dosing/hrb-20059935

if rerember i think SAM-e it takes a while for it to work, like couple weeks, it's similar to how antidepressants work
but if you still having anxiety, herbal relaxants such as kava and valerian root have a small effect to benzo
that or increase zyprexa until you can talk with your doctor
