it's suppost to help increase nuerotransmitter levels, it's basically a vitamen through a prescription, but .... it works ok.....nothing really reinforcing through......
i added it to the meds, prozac at 80mg has totally took out slumps in mood, and im in normal state.......don't feel that fog or that gloomy cloud around me all the time, feel like bland about everything no excitement
but it is worth a try if you talk to your doctor about it.....it's not strong but it just increases nuerotransmitter levels through serotonin production

For me, Deplin was of some help when I began taking it in combination with Nardil. The improvement lasted for less than a month, though. I think it actually made me feel mildly worse thereafter. I felt better when I stopped it.

yea i think it's like the body starts adjusting to the new intake, and then normalizes it and it seems less effective over longer periods of time because the body adapts to it, like it gets used to it's intake

I tried this for 4 months on psychiatrists recommendation. Besides draining my wallet, I found it did nothing to improve my depression.
I really wanted it to work but I couldn't even conjur up any placebo effects.
