Considering my situation, I know my immune reaction is different from how it was before I developed depression, as well as from before I had encephalitis, and lately I've wondered more and more if this might be playing a role in my condition. But the main noticeable difference I've experienced is that I simply don't get sick. I might get a few symptoms of the flu on rare occasion like a mild runny nose. But I've not been so sick that I felt ill ever since I had encephalitis in 2001.
