hello, I take 10mg Abilify for schizophrenia (Only med I take) and seem to have problems with the intensity of my orgasms, I was wondering if taking 50-150mg benadryl would help wit this?
I have heard a few testimony on the internet about people using this to increase there orgasms intensity but I don't know if this would work while being on a antipsychotic?
I would love to hear what you guys think about this and if it could work?

There are some reports Benedryl can improve orgasm, sometimes making it intense, but dosages are purportedly high and possibly dangerous. There are a couple of solutions that have proven effective and are safer. Cyproheptadine can increase libido and improve the quality of orgasms. Yohimbe can also improve orgasms, but take no more than 50 mg as it can lower blood pressure.
Any of these solutions will work while your on antipsychotics.

Cyproheptadine feels like sh*t (to me).
Doesnt mean it will for you though.

Sometimes, cyproheptadine is taken immediately before sex to treat anorgasmia. However, if taken too early, the sedation will appear and affect negatively the sexual experience.
I wonder if other 5-HT2 antagonists have the same effect - or perhaps even 5-HT1a agonists. I haven't looked into it.

Exactly what happened to me. Plus even if you are not sedated its not very "romantic" to have such a narrow time window for sex.

Test results suggest that 5-HT1A and 5-HT2/5-HT1C receptors all stimulate oxytocin secretion, and this effect does not reflect a general neurohypophyseal hormone release.
That oxytocin release may help with sexual side effects.
The 'pink pill' is a 5ht2a receptor antagonist.
