Was for me. But all I had to do was look at an AAP to gain 2 pounds a week.

What else have you tried for sleep? I always thought Seroquel was a last resort if taken for sleep.
If you have bipolar depression though, it could be helpful to you.

how often do you need a sedative? If its just a now and then thing, or if this is only going to be short term treatment, think about Restoril. Its probably not the best idea for a long time, but...for me, it was better than the "z" drugs, especially @ 30mgs.

weight gain could be treated with Metformin if you/your doctor want(s). I think it could be eliminated.

Not always and no guarantee from my experience. Worked well the first time - like nothing the second.

For me, as long as I stayed under 100mg (I took 50mg) I didn't gain weight.
