Chloral Hydrate: a sedative and hypnotic drug used as an anesthetic and sleep aid
Librium: A sedative and hypnotic benzodiazapene tranquilizer.
Valmid: Sedative/hypnotic used for insomnia. Not effective after seven days
Percodan: pain reliever that is a combination of aspirin and oxycodone
Lomotil: diarrhea medication that is chemically related to another opioid
Dexedrine: a psychostimulant amphetamine
Seconal: an anesthetic, hypnotic, sedative barbiturate
Tuinal: a sedative comprised of two barbiturates- secobarbital sodium (Seconal) and amobarbitol sodium
Hydrozets: throat lozenges
Redisol: Injectable b-12 vitamins
Sulfa Gum: for sore throat
Darvon: opiate pain medication that has since been banned
Sulfathallidine: pain relief/anesthetic
Nembutal: Pentobarbital. Anesthetic sedative
Phenargan: heavy sedative.these where the drugs used prior to her death in 1962, she was a heavy barbiturate dependent

i read marylyn monroe started out with having sleeping problems in the early 50s, and barbiturates where the only thing really back then for insomnia......then after years went by they started adding to the cocktail......there's some doctors that are generious, or not to say that positive but will juice someone up......
but her main thing that killed her was the pentobarbital (nembutal) but she didnt accidently do it, she took 25 of them.....so, there's alot of stuff that it was conspiracy because she was envolved in a relationship with JFK and knew information......and i read they staged the suicide......alot of true and untrue stuff.....
she took her barbiturates at night, and also she took Parnate, look on that website it shows a presciption for Parnate and Dexedrine.......

the list above, they where given at differnt times, but the doctor wrote her a presciption for Tuinal, and then discontinued it and started Nembutal (which was the last med) i read there was chloral hydrate in her system in the death report,.....
that website has info on it, most of it is legit, i googled her and then decided to post it on here on babble.....because it was just crazy the amount of barbiturates she was on, with dexedrine, and at short time dexamyl (dexamphetamine/amobarbital) for depression, tons of narcotics

....and all she needed was a medical marijuana license and a bowl or two before bed...
The hard drugs have no place in pain management or sedation except in emergencies. imo.
That's because there are safer more effective options lacking reputations of killing people.

yea.....but see it was back in pre 1960, barbiturates where still in the scene and they where usally the only option besides meprobamate which was in the late 50s........
they did use bromide as sedative in over the counter sleep pill, but it was later found too much of it was toxic.....

God bless her. Let's hope this monstrously primitive psychiatry at least provided her some peace. Will our current SSRI, SP, anticonvulsant, benzo and other drug lists look as monstrous and useless and primitive to future generations?

Maryln Monroe from police reports said she stopped taking care of herself at the last weeks before her death.....she let part of her hair grow and didnt bleach it, her finger nails and toes looked awful, and it just said she looked like she was negligant on health, but i mean think about that the icon of hollywood during that time, there really must of been something going on. But this is my opinion, her mother Gladys Pearl Baker was sent to mental hospital after she had maryln, i read she had to be under psychiatric supervision, paranoia and schizophenia behaviour. But......if you look at pictures of Maryln monroe before she bleached her hair blond, her original name was Norma Jean Mortenson, it's like she totally discarded who she was and took on a new person......hollywood, public property......
i do think there was mental tension, or illness under all the fame, and diamonds and hollywood, it's vary easy to put up a frount to people as having it together.....but i don't know her, and i don't what was going on, but that's my opinion......
i just really want to know who she was under all the diamonds, and eye candy pictures, her original (real) name Norma Jean Mortenson, she changed into a sex icon
but also there is the conspiracy part, because when from this article, she had no water glass to take her pills in her room.....no alcohol, just nembutal and choral hydrate in large amounts in her system from the autospy.....
we'll never know.....

they will have new drugs, they always do.....SSRI's will get it's time slot, until new and improved drugs come out.....
