HI
Does Xanax XR has the same effectiveness as immediate release Xanax. any info appreciated. Is it tolerated better?

xanax xr has a more suddle effect, i've been on it for short time when i was withdrawling from regular xanax.......it lasts all day, and you don't have to redose, but still it's differnt, like when someone just says i need to take a xanax, is not the same term as taking xanax xr because usally you take xanax XR in the morning or at night, and it's suppost to last long time.....
it's good for extended treatment for anxiety and panic, regular xanax is more like taking a quick relief from anxiety, but it wears off within 2-3 hours
