Hi there
Question that i wanted to pose to the group on my medication dosing.
I take 5mgs of Prozac in the morning, 75 MGs of clomipramine at night, and .5 MGs of clonazapam at night.
I feel good emotionally, but for months (approximately 6 months) I've been getting brain zaps in the afternoon. I'm wondering if my dose timing has anything to do with it. If anything, it's a rather annoying nuisance. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

My guess is that your dosage of Prozac in the morning is too low, and that you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms by afternoon, despite the long half life of this drug. Why are you not taking 20 mg/day?

Hi Scott, I've been on Prozac for 8 years at doses ranging from 5 to 15 msg. Anything above 15 and I experience tremors, muscle spasms and akathisia (seen and noted by the doc). It's the only sari that does that to me, I can tolerate higher doses of others.
Im checking with my doc to see what we can do

I agree with Scott. Since you can't go up on the Prozac, I would switch to another SSRI.
Why are you on both?
