I'm currently trialing modafinil 200 mg to offset the severe sedation I experience from clomipramine and aside from the first day, it hasn't helped much. Will its effects increase in strength as I take it or should I begin looking at raising the dose or switching to dexedrine? Thanks.

I'd switch, personally. Dexedrine is cheaper and there's more data on side effects and such. Also, the amphetamine+tca combo helps a lot of people. I don't think modafanil has near as much data behind it.

Thanks for the input. We're trying 400 mg modafinil first but I suspect from my initial response that determine may be needed.

Looks like we're going with vyvanse for its time-release properties, beginning with 30 mg. I hope we can titrate quickly for best effect.
