I have tried three forms of lithium (carbonate, aspartate and orotate). I actually prefer the carbonate form the best, although the orotate form is ok.
Lithium orotate seems to disturb my sleep, while the carbonate form does not. I wonder why this is. I wonder if carbonate and / or orotate have psychological effects. Lithium orotate appears to have more of an antidepressant effect.
I wonder if there is a way to convert lithium orotate to lithium carbonate. Any chemists out there?

li orotate and li carbonate both work at low doses against suicidality for me.
The mood stabilizing effect, no idea as i havent tried high dosages.

Hey Link! It was years ago and I don't remember details. But I tried 3 different versions of Lithium. And yes, they all felt quite different. I had the carbonate form, the orotate form, and another one I don't remember.
They all sucked.
Magnesium in the right form basically does the same thing as Lithium in the nervous system, except does it better and more in tune with the body's intended process. The right form, requires self experiementation. There seem to be so many! I think I did best on the Malate version, worst on the citrate version.
Get rid of any stealth infections, and clean up the grocery cart to sparkling, and a lot of this just goes away. But I've been saying that for years and sound crazy when I do, so I apologize in advance if taken wrong.

I am unfamiliar with this.
