i started a new scheduele for myself, before bed : 10mg olanzipine and with the lamotragine at 500mg, split in half, i've noticed if i stop zyprexa too sudden withdraws happen.......
taper myself off it....i usally only take it now if i cannot sleep due to over active mind, but it knocks me out and slows me down the next day......thats the only insomnia treatment i have, my doctor doenst want to use anyhting else......
but like i said i am much more active off zyprexa, but after 3 or 4 days the body starts changing back to like the original state, and its sudden and fast and causes me to freaking nervous, titration is the only way to get this under control........
i took the 10mg dose about 15min ago, and the lamotragine......and i notice if i totally stop zyprexa i have to take more lamictal to keep the aura waves tingling feelings from happening....above 600mg, but the reason......i know i've said this again, but i notice im much more talkative. and have motivation to plan ahead of time, after couple days i have to take more lamotragine to keep the imbalance under control......
i just want to stop it, but i realize in a way it does help, but i'm in zyprexa land......but if it gets to the point where i have to take it, i usally do but i took only 10mg tonight.......
lamotragine makes me less impulsive, but don't get euphoria thoughts.......and tends to make feel in baseline state, not depressed but not euphoric......
____
but with that said, i'm now know what happens when medications are altered fast and the changes it can make.......until then, low dose of the olanipine and increase in lamictal and see what happens, ill post about it

Good luck with everything, RJ. Please do keep us posted on how you're doing.
On a side note, have you started Deplin yet? If so, are you feeling any different with the Deplin being part of your regimen?

it's been a spin, it's better with zyprexa, but i want off it, maybe tranfer to something.....it calming with me, but i can hardly find the words to say, or it just makes me spaced out.....i know i have adhd, and i've played along with all these heavy psychiatric trips.....
it's less spacey, but iwth lamictal increase, makes kinda apathic, don't get the rush euphoria you get when your in a serious discussion with someone, you just stay and drift....i can see why thery use it for mania.....
