I've always been a very good reliable worker but over the last few years employers have begun to tell me that I don't focus---my mind is far ahead of itself...thoughts race so fast......any med advice would be helpful current meds

What would happen if your were to discontinue Lexapro?

I am not concerned about activation per se, but the induction of some degree of mania. What other drugs have you taken for OCD? What were the results? If Lexapro has been the best drug for you, then you might have to increase the dosage of Tegretol or introduce another antimanic drug.
Just a few thoughts.

Perhaps Luvox (fluvoxamine) would not induce mania so readily. Sigma receptor agonism (stimulation) might help with anxiety and racing thougts. I have not investigated this.
Shouldn't you be taking 900 - 1200 mg/day of Tegretol?
