i decided the other day i was going to take 1 tablet in the morning, and then another tablet before bed, and then i got up and took my 2 tablets in the morning as usaul, lamotragine at 600mg - 800mg really can have a over stablizing effect, it does have an antidepressant effect, but it's like it creates a floor where you won't sink, but it creates a ceiling where you can't get over excited or enthusastic......
it finally wore off today, it's checmical controlled voltage, the sodium channels are blocked and the nuerotransmitters are forced to move in fixed firing rate.....i was definetly calm this morning, no racing thoughts or depression, but the effect was over stablizing and causing unnatural stablization......just makes things so stablized everything feels plain and gloomy.....
not sure......maybe valoric acid family, depakote.....lamictal shuts off my hyperactity. but makes me boring.....and it makes feel boring, and plain
until them maybe ill take 200mg

and other days.....sometimes there's no effect, but today when i took 1 tablet before bed, it didnt wear off and stayed with me through today, at the 600mg range.....
zyprexa does work for me, it wipes me out at night, but like i said my body is odd in the way it acts, doesnt respond to medication, sometimes i will notice an effect, like today.....but it was not a plesant feeling......over stablized with lamotragine and olanzipine

Have you talked to your doctor about how you're feeling on your prescribed dose of Lamictal? Do you feel you should be on a lower dose?

i'm on 400mg, it does at times when it does work, i took a 200mg at night, before bed, then 400mg the usal morning dose, and it didnt wear off....so it was at 600mg, i was a zombie, over stablized
but maybe i should......the thing is i've went a long time with my medicines having a resistance.....and sometimes they work, then other days.....nothing, and it's been that way for a long time......
yes maybe 200mg is good for depression but 400 was used for mood stablization for irrtibility......
