They were given doxycycline (a similar tetracycline antibiotic), and their psychotic symptoms and cognition improved significantly. Working with their psychiatrist, we were able to reduce, and in some cases eliminate, all of their antipsychotic medication.

I took doxycyclline and no side effects at all for lymes disease. I heard recently that the price has gone up and at one time was no longer available. But it is now. Phillipa

Yes it is that is what the doc wanted to give me but it wasn't available at the time. Took it also for lymes. No side effects. It's the mino that has the bad ones. P
