i believe i got a contaminated batch of 5htp from Puritans Pride...any body else heard about this problem...ordered product maybe four months ago or so..it made me and my wife fell sick of half a day or more

Are you taking any other drugs or supplements? 5-htp can interact with certain meds and supplements.

Did you know the FDA or one of the agencies is pulling slowly supplements vitamins and turning them into pharmaciticals? Adding something to them so prescriptions will be required?

5htp is supposed to free of the problems that popped up w/ tryptophan. It can, however, still cause nausea and some other problems...that's why I use a time release version.
