Does anyone find that SSRIs actually increase their usage of benzos? Not just during start up, but on a longer term basis as well.
Thanks.

Joe is right. If one needs a benzo for start up I found myself continuing to take them all these 45 years now. But not all those years did I take an SSRI. Only the last 15 years. Before that I would just start and stop benzos. I want off the SSRI's as don't do a think that I know of. Seems if up or down and SSRI subtheraputic dose that no difference and the same now with benzos. So what is it? Thanks Phillipa

What about Paxil? It is probably the best SSRI for anxiety disorders, although its effects are not seen right away.

maybe SSRI drugs just aren't for you? My wild guess would be some kind of akathisia.
