Had the experience of spending the day in Urgent Care yesterday with fever, cough, icky phelm, and tiredness etc. Everyone with a cough had to wear a mask the whole time. Flu rampant they say. Interesting thing none leaving were wearing a mask and had prescriptions for antibiotics. I tested negative for strep and didn't have the flu. Diagnosis bronchitis. Given script for augmentin. . Point of post is don't assume you have the flu. Seems that this year as the doctor said so much going around that in his 15 years of doctoring this is the worse he's ever seen it. So if you experience any illness please do see a doctor. If not caught in time was told lots of this "stuff" is turning into pneumonia. Thanks for reading. Phillipa. Please stay well.

Friends,
It is written above concerning illness and the illness turning into pneumonia. But it could be much worse than that for you that take antidepressants and other psychotropic drugs. You see, those drugs can cause interference with your immune system that is what you need to overcome the sickness. This interference and how it happens from psychotropic drugs has much research behind it and I have studied enough for me to know the basics and how these drugs can actually short-circuit your immune system.
Being as it may be, without your immune system working properly, those illnesses that could have been arrested by the immune system can flourish into death. This is all because your immune cells that signal each other can be stopped from signaling each other when the drug causes an imbalance with the signaling chemical such as serotonin. I have also studied how this can cause cancer.

It's been 2 1/2 years since I dropped cigs and started vaping. Not even a cough since then. I had pneumonia twice while being a smoker. Pneumonia sucks.

I had very serious pneumonia many years ago - 20 years ago, I think. Both lungs 3/4 filled with fluid. I went to the doctor with a 105 fever and they did an X-ray then called an ambulance. I was on IV antibiotics for four days and was all better. Before I left the hospital, I asked the doctor to prescribe a nicotine patch (they were still prescription only then). She said - you haven't smoked for a week. You're already withdrawn from nicotine. You don't need the patch.
So, of course, within days I was smoking again. In retrospect, it amazes me how little doctors know about addiction.

I had a physical a few weeks ago and told my doctor, 2.5 years tobacco free thanks to vaping. He said he read in a journal that ecigs were more effective as a quit smoking tool verses big pharma's crap. I said, of course..hand to mouth, inhaling a mist of nicotine and food flavoring. You give up nothing other than a hundred carcinogens and a chemical soup.
I didn't want to quit when I tried an ecig but the ecig worked so well I quit on the spot. That's after 40 years of 1.5-2 packs a day. :) TMI?

Hi, acutally I have gotten what I'm assuming is the flu every month for the last 4 months. I'm sick right now. I didn't get sick for two years until 4 months ago. I have no idea what's wrong with me. I don't sleep a lot and I work out, so I'm guessing my immune system is just shot.. Hope this year is a healthier one for you.
