Having a rough time of it and came across a jar of amineptine and a few tabs of tianeptine. Both seem to be helpful for the rougher times. I just drop the lexapro for a few days and let the other meds dig me out a bit. Anyone else?

I never went above 5mg of lexapro combined with 25mg of luvox. And the almighty non working benzos. Did you benefit from a higher dose of lexapro and now it's not working so trying a med you have used in the past? Phillipa

I have taken tianeptine for several years, after having very poor experiences with all the other groups of ADs. It is mild, but has an anti-anxiety effect which seems to quickly become anti-depressant as well. It, rTMS and therapy seemed to have all helped a lot , so that my depression now varies between mild and absent.
I don't think you can getcamineptine any longer.

how did you dose the tianeptine?
it's more difficult to get amineptine but still possible.

Tianeptine is quite short-acting, so I take 12. 5 mg 5-6 times a day. I really value it's action in lowering cortisol and the total absence of side effects.
