I'd be careful. I think you may have better alternatives. Depakote+Abilify=mad anxiety for me. I don't think I'm the only one, either.

actually it's a rather good med for those symptoms, 500-1000mg seems to be enough, not too sedating at that dose

I think it would help with anxiety and racing thoughts. It really slowed me down. Too much actually. I took a high dose, around 1000mg. Also took zyprexa 10mg at the same time.
