The office was able to call my doctor and she called me back. She said I shouldn't be taking the Geodon with the Elavil. And she wants me to start immediately on 250 mg of Depakote and we may go up from there. I'm very mad sensitive.
She wants me to take 20 mg tonight at Geodon Taconic wing myself off.
Thank goodness! I thought I was going to go crazy!

I'm so glad your doc got back to you. So she disagreed with the on call doc. Sorry you have had to go through this. Phillipa

Yes, she totally disagreed with the on call doc and said my phone call qualified as an emergency. She was also frustrated that the doctor that prescribed Elavil didn't realize there could be an interaction with Geodon.
She's a great doc and probably the smartest one I've been to. She knows and reads up immediately on all the meds.
So, hopefully in a few days I will have my feet back on the ground. It's terrible to feel so out of control.

Good luck.
I don't know whats wrong with being hypomanic but hm. I think i had hypomania before and its not always a sign of sickness.
Sometimes its just that you are euphoric and are having a blast (before i got ill). All the international students where euphoric. There is nothing wrong with it.

I took 125mg of Depakote at lunch and it helped a little.
But I took 250mg with dinner. I might actually sleep tonight! Thank goodness.
I'll take the Elavil in the morning since it keeps me awake.
I've got the best doc.
