I've been experiencing somewhat slurred speech, and trouble with my handwriting and coordination/strength in the past few weeks, about the time I started adding Brintellix to small dose of Celexa and 200 mgs Lamictal.
I feel like if it's the meds, that's scary. If it's not, I'm even more scared. Anyone with thoughts?

it may be a serotonin imbalance, lamictal does cause impairments in cognitive but usally only at doses higher than 400mg.....
brintellix is new antidepressant, it's a serotonin modulator, slight agonist on sero.....it could be it's mixing with celexa reuptake and causing flucutions.....that or it could simply be a bad reaction where the body is saying no, get this stuff out here....
either stop it, or talk to the doc......i don't know really anything to stop the shaking, antipsychotics can make it worse, and benzos.....only sedate the shakes....
you could drop the brillitex and start buspar....it's antianxiety but still has some antidepressant qualities

First did you read the thread on the equinox? If so and not a factor can I ask age bracket? And diagnosis. Any illnesses in your family tree. If it's really bothering I guess see your doctor. If still on the med. Maybe go off it? Phillipa

Haha the whole reason I started Brintellix/Viibryd was that Buspar really helped me with reading and concentration and some components of anxiety. However it turned me into a raging *sshole. We figured it was the metabolite of buspar that was irritating me, but the 5ht1a action would be useful.
I was on Brintellix in the spring and nothing like this happened.
Let me check out this Equinox post you're talking about.
This is the end of the thread.
