Has anyone done this, or have you heard of this? Taking two lower doses of ad's?
I've taken 15 mg lexapro for about a month, and will see a cfids/fm doctor in a few weeks. I was unable to tolerate cymbalta at full dose, but maybe a low dose is tolerable. The pain relief it provided was magnificent.

The pain relief it provided was magnificent.I could not find any dose-finding studies of Cymbalta (duloxetine) when it is used in the treatment of pain syndromes. However, there is evidence of its effectiveness at 20 mg/day.

For all we know, 5 mg/day might be effective.
Experiment?

Me 5mg of lexapro & 25mg of fluvoximine. When I took cymbalta 60mg and did fine on it. No back pain then. I wonder if it would help my horrific back pain now. I have a full bottle about 8 years old. Is it still good? No heat or cold in a basket in room. Phillipa

None so far if not for the curvature could probably have some spacers put in between the discs, the inside of spine cleaned out and bone spurs shaved off. How I wish as evidently Germany has had artificial discs for many years. The FDA will not approve them here. And thanks for asking. P

Artificial discs. Do you know why they are not FDA approved? When at Stanford pain clinic, I was told Cymbalta for nerve and back pain both.

No although plastic spacers are? From what the PT guy said the FDA makes things to hard to approve here. Cymbalta did work well but I question if back pain had even started yet? Phillipa
