i havent talked with my doctor about this, but i still have been having mood swings, and they did say if kept up would move slowly to 600mg
see....im on mood stablizers, because my doctor belives my condition is, schizoaffective with manic symptoms. This is what is the case, "hyperactivity" in the brain, which in my personal opinion doctors believed i had ADD in my previous years....and now i am on heavy duty medications treating bipolar depression...my doctor thinks i have, and anytime i mention a stimulant besides nuvigil....it's....they think im trying to get back on psychostimulants, so the hyperacitity has been shut down, it's like a waterfall-dam that processed water, then new form to block all the water out....instead of hybriding it to move more successful....
current med:
prozac 60mg
lamictal 400mg may movce to 600
nuvigil 250mg
zyprexa 20mgbut don't get the wrong opinion im being treated and negiligent....the doctor has worked vary hard to get me on heavy duty doses, totally shut off the hyperactivity of ADD, forcing it to stay calm through blocking and sodium channels shutting off....i'm just....passive, kinda spaced, in not depressed but this is a new state of mind from not being on dextroaphetamine....
so.....first start up to 500mg and then 600mg after couple months....
but i have to say im not depressed at all.....just slight mood swings, that really are related to ADD, and is being treated with mood stablizers

My guess would be that even though some of your passivity and spaciness might have something to do with not being on dextroamphetamine, the medications that you're taking (and perhaps your illness, as well) probably have a lot to do with the way that you describe feeling. I know that I felt quite passive and spacey at any dose of Zyprexa when I took the medication. Have you ever tried a lower dose of Zyprexa? If so, did you feel any different as far as feelings of passivity and spaciness were concerned? I could be wrong, but I wonder if maybe some of the feelings that you're experiencing could be remedied with reducing the amount of medication you're taking instead of escalating the dose of one of your medications.

Are you still taking meth? Or have you managed to give it up. If so maybe the moodstabilizers are helping with that?
This is the end of the thread.
