I do not want to change medication. I found that my bladder is better on 200mg Seroquel than on 300mg and more.
Currently i just discontinued Zyprexa so im taking about 8 months to go from 650mg Seroquel to, say 250.
Until then can i take supplements that increase bladder strength?
I have been to the doctor, he ruled out everything but "medication side effect". I am healthy. Just frequent urination.
Help appreciated.Julian

Changing neuroleptics is not an option. Also the Dr did some diagnostic stuff and says there is no organic cause, its just a side effect.
What can i do?

Since there is no longer a health board guessing that social is the designated board for these questions. Phillipa

I don't know about supplements, but you could try something like solifenacin (Vesicare), 5mg per day.

I wish you luck with your meds. I have interstitial cystitis (painful, burning bladder condition) and a lot of meds give me either pain, frequency, retention. I have been through so many meds mainly due to the side effects with my bladder.
I used to take Seroquel low dose 50mg and I was fine.

Forget prescriptions. Herbal is the only thing I have found to treat my problem. Get online and order some Lycopene, Saw Palmetto. Also there is a formula I like that works even a little better: GNC MEGA MEN Prostate & Virility. I'm improved 95%. Available at Sams club at a bargain price.
