Hey, everybody!
I always see so many people asking for help with their medication, but I never see the passing side of psychopharmacology too much even though I know it's there.
Please share your combo or one medication (gasp!) that has you in at least 70% remission. This is a grade of a C- in college.
I just want to see what is at least helping people somewhat.

I am 71.5% better.
Prescriptions that got me there:
Brintellix (vortioxetine) 20mg.; TA
Dexedrine (d-amphetamine) 60mg.; [#180 10mg.] 4TA2Pgr
Lamictal XR (lamotrigine) 200mg.; TA
Latuda (lurasidone) 60mg..; TD PCHS
Trokendi XR (topiramate) 200mg.; CA
Xanax XR (alprazolam) [#90 0.5mg.] 2TAFAX2QPMTRPOBIDNotice everybody: I discontinued and will not ever continue Neurontin or Lyrica due to abuse. Also, I did not refill Nuvigil per someone's advice on here. I take the advice of people on here very seriously.
Very proud of myself. Have not abused my Xanax XR, but I don't want fill it next month. I don't want to be on BZD therapy and I have NOTHING wrong with it for those indicated for it.
I still get a weird anxious nervous feeling a lot, mood destabilization, depression, and other mental health issues that I'm able to hide from the rest of the word. But it's there. Definitely inside of me. And, I know the meds have made things a lot better and have given me a great hobby. I love pharmacology.
Feel free to share!

I posted in my original thread that I'm not feeling as good today. And was only at 70% to begin with, but being at 70% instead of the bottom of the ocean felt like 100%.
And I love psychopharmacology too. Actually want to be a psychiatrist.

> EricGlad to see the Tegretol is working for you. I think carbamazepine is a clear winner over oxcarbapazepine and probably eslicarbazepine. Wow, Lithium is amazing! I kinda wish I would have chosen it over Lamictal. I actually think it's a better drug, just as an IMO thing-- it's just that the blood tests dissuade people, including me from trying it lol.
Geodon, hey 50% is better than nothing, right? Geodon has one of the most complex MOAs of anything I've seen. I hope Luvox turns out to do something for your OCD. I'm sure you've already tried everything under the sun for it.
My number one suggestion would be Aldoril (methyldopa/hydrochlorothiazide). Similar to clonidine (which is sometimes indicated), but a much better treatment since it combines two treatments into one. I would give this is a shot for your OCD.
I switched to regular ole Dexedrine IR 60mg. Have you ever tried it? I imagine that since you're getting 100% coverage with Vyvanse there's no point. It's equal to 22.5mg. Dexedrine. (Vyvanse according to Shire is equal to 30mg. Adderall XR 30mg.) I imagine it's equal to more than 22.5mg. however since the bioavailability is 100% so it's probably 30mg. of Dexedrine too. It's just making me really curious tho. I might consider asking for Vyvanse 70mg. with #90 10mg. Dexedrine.

Their really not that big of a deal and you don't have to do them as often as you think. I have mine done when I do my diabetes check, every 3 months.

Right?
>I switched to regular ole Dexedrine IR 60mg. Have you ever tried it?
No, just regular Dexedrine capsules, 15 mg.

>Aldoril (methyldopa/hydrochlorothiazide).
Why would someone want to take hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic) for OCD? It is indicated for high blood pressure, especially in black people and the elderly. HCTZ should not be combined with lithium because it causes accumulation. In addition, there is no evidence to support the use of methyldopa in OCD. Many years ago, methyldopa was a popular treatment for hypertension, including hypertension in pregnancy, but the side effect profile is relatively poor so it's fallen into disuse.
I'm confused.
