If effexor worked for me in the past (I needed high doses and then it eventually pooped out on me), would cymbalta be a better choice? I think it is the norepinephrine that helps me which is why the lower doses of effexor don't do much. Am just starting effexor again, hoping that it will work the same as it did when I first started it last time but am also looking into other options in case it doesn't.
Are there people who did well with effexor that also did well on cymbalta? Which did you feel better on and how/why?

I used effexor for years but when cymbalta was launched, I switched. For myself, Cymbalta is superior to Effexor in both effectiveness and side effects.
