I picked it up with a bit of peanut butter. However, the doctor who is overseeing you in this trial should have some suggestions. I also assume you have access to a pharmacy that can help you with this, correct? It is good that you are giving it a fair trial - just keep talking to your doctors about what you are experiencing.

Jeroen: Get strong!

You are not a weak person! Keep taking the minocycline! You might feel better once you get to dosages of 100 - 200 mg/day. Some studies used 400 mg/day. Work with your doctors on this. I never got a headache. For me, minocycline has no side effects. It's like taking a sugar pill. I also take Abilify 10 mg/day. The two drugs might work better when taken together. I am not sure, though.

Try not to stop taking minocycline because of your anxiety and ruminations. Wait until you speak to your doctors before giving up on minocycline. It is my feeling that, even if you don't reach remission with minocycline now, it might be the key to the doors that your other drugs are having trouble opening.

Good luck.

and about the mino. ok, seems it isnt the miracle cure you expected, but you didt give it a fair chance. just saying... but ok. if you cant take it any longer.
