My doc let me try the new & improved extended release version of Trileptal. Then, I started having crippling feet problems, swelling, pain and eventually tendonitis.
Turns out, plain old immediate release Trileptal is better for me. The Oxtellar XR I was taking before bed WAS what was causing the painful swelling in my feet. It's a "less severe" side effect - yea right!
Now that I've gone back to the cheap old immediate release Trileptal I don't have that problem and my feet are fine! Yea!
I'm the queen of side effects, and I loved Oxteller XR, but my body was swelling too much overnight (I would take it before bed).
Now I just take my Trileptal during the day and I can walk!
Like I said, side effects queen. :(
Oh, and I'm still taking my same old faithful Geodon & Klonopin. Back to normal. Normal is nice, really nice. No more drug trials for me!

Yep. Absolutely no stimulant drugs. Only 1 cup of caffeine a day. Period.
I loved Adderall, but every time it caused instability. Just not worth it.

Pretty good. My nerves still get me, but with the help of Klonopin and Trileptal they help me through it. Sometimes Klonopin seems like too much in the morning, so I take 300mg of Trileptal right off, then more Trileptal later in the day.
I have asthma and my inhalers make me jittery & nervous, so the morning Trileptal is a must! Which is also why I stay away from caffeine - I don't need to rattle my nerves any more!

Makes sense to me. Glad it's working. Phillipa
